Customer Presented Mode

Overview

Customer Presented Mode (CPM) payment, also known as B scan C payment, is when the customer presents the payment code in payment application to the merchant. The merchant then scans the payment code to initiate a payment. Payment code refers to QR codes or barcodes presented by customers on ShopeePay’s application for merchants to scan with their devices to initiate payment.

With customer presented mode payment, the payment speed and efficiency are greatly improved because the merchant can lower the error rate in the payment process by specifying the payment amount and the merchant can get a clear payment result for each transaction.

  1. Customer opens ShopeePay app, and presents payment code to the merchant.
